Two houses, two gardens, two old ladies.
Marie-Josette and Frida. They present slices of their lives to us in silence. They invent small
rivalries, like how to fill up the time with the other one, the neighbour, that unbearable presence
so precious.
A sensitive subject with a visual clown basis.

Caractéristiques

Mine de Rien Company was created in 1997

1997-1999 First show : Trois fois tout d'Agitex
The show was performed over a hundred times in Aurillac, Chalon, Avignon and also a tour in Brazil.
2002-2006 Solo show: Frida in “C'est pas donné” (Avignon, France) sponsored by the Samovar, DMDTS and the municipal theatre in Coutances
2005 – 2006 creation of “Quiet at Last” sponsored by the DMDTS, the cicus pole in Cevennes Languedoc and Roussilon and the departement of Ardèche. (France)
The company still has a foot in the circus and the other in the theatre, and happy to do so.
Their creations deal in a comic way with the big themes of life (solitude of workers,charity with Frida, old age in Quiet at Last). The style and the tone are clown like which allows for a certain distance regarding such serious subjects.Think while being amused, the company's moto.

Pina Blankevoort (Hollandaise)
She studied at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in 1985-87 and the pedagogical year in 1990.She has performed and created several shows (with la Jaquerie, Mine de Rien, Rob Van Reyn, les Noctambules etc). She also works as a clown with Le Rire Médecin. She teaches in France,
Switzerland,Singapour, Holland, italie etc and also directs (La Fleur au fusil).

Aline Muheim (Suisse)
She trained at L'école du théatre de mouvement « Comart » in Zurich and at the national centre for circus arts in Rosny sous Bois.She has participated and toured with the cirque Baroque, A&O, Cirque du Soleil, Compagnie Anomalie etc. She has also worked for four years
with the Rire Médecin where she met Pina Blankevoort.
